Description

Class Experience

I've taught photography for years, and I remember how tough certain topics can be. In this class, photography couldn't get any easier with an effortless out of your seat guided practice. 

Experience isn't required; students will be lead, in the beginning, photographing what they see at home. This class teaches you about your camera inside and out. Ending course with a small project.  
 
Week 1: Intro to your digital camera, learn how it works. We will get to know each other and learn basic...

Simple camera operations using a point and shoot, DSLR, or mirrorless camera. I will ask students what camera they are using and what they are hoping to learn. While guiding them through simple steps to using a camera. We will photograph a little during class, so bring an object you like to photograph. Depending on the camera model,s we will cover White Balance, ISO, and Exposure modes with hands-on knowledge. The goal is more confidence.

Images will be assessed weekly.

Photoshop

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

They will be assessed by the work they produce during class, but as guidance.

55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
