Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in Spanish.
To learn how to pronounce the new vocabulary correctly and be able to say a few short sentences in Spanish.
My first language is English, but at the age of 13 I had to continue my education in Puerto Rico till I was 21 years old. When I worked in my government and hospital jobs, I interpreted and translated for Spanish speaking patients and clients for over 15 years. I am Puerto Rican and speak Spanish with my family and friends.
Students will get a worksheet of words discussed in class and a link to the Blooket game. It is recommended that students review the words to help recognize and recall words.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students can read short stories in Spanish or look at cartoons in Spanish to help them get used to talking in Spanish.
