Description
Class Experience
This course will cover the beginning basics of writing for the preschool to kindergarten age children. It will focus on creating illustrations, adding detail to those illustrations, then connecting your writing to the illustration. Students will begin by brainstorming things they can write about and choosing a topic. Next they will have a few minutes to start their drawing. After those minutes are up, we will discuss each drawing. Next we will add more details to the drawing after discussion....
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn confidence in their writing abilities and trust their skills to create a writing piece with an illustration.
I have a degree in elementary education for grades PreK-4th grade.
Paper Pencil (with eraser) Crayons
20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Any drawings or sentences that are inappropriate will be directed to Outschool.com and your child's video will be turned off.
