Beginner's Cooking and Baking: Funfetti Sugar Cookie Cake with Buttercream Icing
In this ongoing course, students will meet weekly with Mrs. Spitler to learn to cook or bake a basic recipe that the whole family will enjoy!

Brownies, muffins, pastas, soups, and casseroles...Sounds great! In my kitchen, we'll explore a variety of delectable dishes. No prior cooking experience is needed as we learn together how to properly measure and incorporate our ingredients. Don't over-stir the muffins! They'll be tough. Stir the chocolate and cream together slowly as they melt. We don't want them to scorch on the bottom! And above all, smile and laugh as we enjoy our cooking time! We will begin each class with our ingredients and cooking tools prepared and set out so we can dive right into our recipes. Learners will be encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and express their own preferences for different foods. You'll find the ingredient list/recipe in the welcome post in our classroom. Please have your learner print it out for reference during class. See you in the kitchen! Learning Goals
The main goal of this class is for beginner students to gain basic cooking skills and build their confidence while having fun cooking with other kids their own age.
