Class Experience
Brownies, muffins, pastas, soups, and casseroles...Sounds great! In my kitchen, we'll explore a variety of delectable dishes. No prior cooking experience is needed as we learn together how to properly measure and incorporate our ingredients. Don't over-stir the muffins! They'll be tough. Stir the chocolate and cream together slowly as they melt. We don't want them to scorch on the bottom! And above all, smile and laugh as we enjoy our cooking time! The main goal of this class is for beginner students to gain basic cooking skills and build their confidence while having fun cooking with other kids their own age.
Good food is a long tradition in my family. I've had the privilege of being surrounded by great cooks and delicious food, and it's time now to share that tradition.
Homework is to enjoy their delicious food!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parental guidance is highly recommended as students will be using various kitchen tools and appliances, sometimes including knives, mixers, ovens, and stove tops.
