In this ongoing class, we will work on conversational Spanish, Vocabulary, and sentence structure. We will have a new theme each week. This class will help you to advance quickly in Spanish.

Beginner Level
What will be taught? These lessons focus on conversational skills like greetings, survival phrases, basic settings, travel phrases, and more. I will use visuals and interactive worksheets, to quiz you on what you’ve learned and provide additional practice in the form of fun, interactive games. Each class we will review the vocabulary of the week and go over our conversational phrases during class. We will also have a warm-up time to practice conversing and asking Spanish questions. What topics we will cover? Each week is broken down into new themes that address a particular situation and key vocabulary. If you take the class consecutively you can finish the loop in 52 weeks. You can jump in at any given week as the curriculum does not build, it is a new theme each week. Four-week breakdown: Week 1 <Jan. 22,23, 25>- Greetings Week 2 <Jan. 29,30 and Feb. 1 >-Let's Go Shopping Week 3< Feb. 5,6,8>- Let's Go Traveling Week 4<Feb.12,13,15> Let's Go to the Doctor's office How the class is structured? and How will I teach? We will begin each class with a conversational greeting warm-up. We will also review Spanish phrases we will use during class like : May I? I have a question, Please, thank you, etc. We will then review our vocabulary words of the day and the conversational questions and answers. I will use visual aids to help with grabbing the attention of the learner. We will also work on a worksheet that will be provided to go along with every class. Then we will practice our conversation questions and answers using fun games that will help keep the interest of the students. We will end the class with a review game. My teaching style is fun and energetic. I like the students to learn and enjoy learning. How much will learners get to interact with you and each other Students will be interacting all throughout the class. They will participate in the conversations, questions, and review games. I also give the students a chance to share some of their favorite interests and toys during our once- a- week show and tell time at the end of class.
Learning Goals
My Goal is that the students will advance in learning Spanish and know how to communicate in various situations. I also hope to see them gain confidence in speaking Spanish as a second language. They will also learn lots of new vocabulary by the end of the 52 week loop.
