Students will learn how to create line art from reference photos (provided by teacher). We will cover the basics of Procreate including: how to make a file, color mode for files, how to select lines and use them for specific purposes, make layers and create a very simple piece artwork by the end of the class. Students will be able to ask questions and engage with other students. This is a great introduction to the world of digital art. Your student will be able to use these basics and continue to build up their skill as they practice after class. Artists do not need prior experience to try this course. You just need to be willing to learn!!

I teach art classes to 1st-5th grade elementary students. I am currently a full time in person Art Teacher. This is my 5th year of teaching. I believe that every person is creative. We can all learn critical thinking skills from art that are utilized both within the field and applicable to every facet of life. I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.
