Description
Class Experience
I’m a K-6 Montessori Teacher, specializing in Art and Literature. I hold a Teaching degree and a certification in Early Childhood.
We will use a variety of materials, I will post on the classroom each week what you should bring to class. Here is an example of what we may use (if your child doesn't have something for class they can always use an alternative):- Watercolor Paper Regular white and colored paper Pencil Eraser Ruler Scissors Glue Stick Tape Watercolor Paints Paint brushes Oil pastels Crayons Colored Pencils Markers Permanent Marker (sharpie)
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please be aware that some weeks we will use scissors and glue, so you may need to be nearby to watch or help them off camera. My advice would be to use a glue stick as they are easier for younger children to us and less messy.
