Class Experience

***If you do not see a time listed for this class, please message me with a schedule request and I will try to schedule your child for the following week.***

**I am also ok with teaching kids over 14. I had to choose an age range**

Welcome to the world of Archery!

Have you ever thought about having your child try out archery? Then this class is for them!

This class is for the beginner archer who has never had any direct instruction on archery.
They will be required to make a string bow ahead of time. It is very simple and only takes a few minutes.

Your child will use this string bow in class as I demonstrate and have them practice the eleven steps of archery success.
They will need a little room to stand up in front of the camera to practice these steps.

**I also teach an All About Archery Class!**

Learning Goals

Students will learn the eleven steps to archery success.
They will be encouraged to practice these steps at home before they use a real bow on their own.

Other Details

Supply List
-Paracord (or a similar type of string) cut to the length of your child’s wingspan.

-Watch the video for instructions on how to make a string bow.
If you do not know...typically (but not always), an archer pulls back the string with the hand he/she writes with. They typically hold the bow with their opposite hand. Knowing this will help make the string bow.

**Please note if you are signing up for this class at the last minute, please have your child still attend and they can pretend without a string bow. They can make one after the class.

***Also, due to safety reasons, do not have your child bring a real bow to class. I do not want to risk them dry firing their bow while we practice.
