Class Experience
This class will teach beginner students the basics of theater dance! This class will focus on BEGINNER dancers! This class will cover basic dance positions and steps most often found in theater dance combinations. We will do a physical warm up, zero-in on specific steps, and then apply them to a short combination. The goal is to build physical strength and agility, learn steps commonly found in theatre dance, and develop memorization skills. Students will need to be in clothing that is...
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental supervision is recommended as this is a highly physical class. Class will include stretching, a cardio warm up, and highly physical choreography. Please ensure your learner has a clear space for dancing free of trip and slip hazards. Learners are encouraged to take breaks at any time as they need them, (no need to ask) and to *know their own limitations*. Questions are always encouraged at any time! Please have water handy, wear comfortable clothing, and closed toe shoes.
