Class experience
This class is designed for learners who have completed my Sewing 101 course, or who are confident on sewing machine, a working knowledge of how to read a pattern, and an understanding of basic sewing terms. This class is designed to give learners the confidence to create clothing and accessories that are made specifically for them and their measurements. Homework Offered
Each week, learners are to post pictures of their projects. They are asked to comment on at least 2 other learners projects each week as well. The teacher will be available to answer any questions and provide encouragement as well!2 - 4 hours per week outside of class

Each week, learners are required to have a working sewing machine, basic sewing supplies (measuring tape, scissors, pins, chalk, thread, hand sewing needle), and their patterns printed out. They will also need to have access to a camera to post weekly pictures of their projects. Here are the fabric requirements of each week. All fabric lengths are approximate. Please see each pattern for more exact yardage lengths: Week 1: 1.5 yards of knit fabric (Double brushed poly, ITY, Jersey Knit are recommended) Week 2: 1.5 yards knit fabric Week 3: 1/2 yard fleece, 1yards coordinating fleece Week 4: 2 yards fleece, knit or sweatshirt material Week 5: 2 yards knit (jersey knit, dbp, rayon spandex) Week 6: 1 yard knit fabric, .5 yard coordinating fabric for sleeves Patterns will be posted weekly with the video. Some patterns are free, and some need to be purchased. Some patterns may contain affiliate links. I do not own the rights to any pattern unless it has my name on it. All patterns are copyrighted to their respective owners.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
We will be working with sewing machines and sometimes irons. Please have a parent nearby to supervise!
