This ongoing course will give your learner the opportunity to follow directions by following along to a directed drawing, adding detail to their picture, coloring and working on fine motor skills, and following the steps to writing a sentence to go along with their directed drawing. This class is taught in English.
Students will work to improve their fine motor skills during the directed drawing and their understanding of basic sentence structure.
As a trained and certified elementary school teacher with a Master of Arts in Teaching degree, I have great experience teaching the fine motor skills to young learners and teaching basic sentence structure (Uppercase letter, finger spaces, stretch out words phonetically, and end your thought with a period.)
A one-page sheet will be provided prior to the class. The learner will also need crayons and a pencil.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Because this class is for young learners, parental guidance may be needed throughout the lesson or until the learner gets the hang of the classroom structure.
