 Week 1
Lesson 1
All about the materials
In this class I will go over all the materials! I will explain the differences between student and professional grade. Learners won't need to have exactly the same materials that I have. I do however want them to be informed so when they are ready to upgrade their supplies they will have the information to make their next purchase. I'm hoping give learners information that can help them with cost effectiveness and lessen the FOMO (fear of missing out) about certain brands or mediums. Learners co
Lesson 2

Homework Offered
Assessments Offered
Learners will have 3 projects finished by the end of class
Grades Offered
REQUIRED: 140lb watercolor paper (this will be used for all the art mediums) recommended brands: Canson XL, Arteza, Strathmore (I like buying a large pad and cutting up into smaller pieces)

Recommended art supplies by brands:
- Sakura koi watercolor set in pans or tubes, winsor and newton cotman watercolors pans or tubes
- Arteza gouache (basic color set) and acrylic paint
- Other acrylic paint recommendation: liquitex set, winsor and newton acrylic, blick acrylic paint. You can use regular craft paint also just know that it can be more watery or transparent making it a bit harder to work with in my experience.
- Watercolor brushes and mixed use brushes. Typically you want to have a separation between watercolor brushes and other painting mediums.
