Join me for a fun, step by step beginner 1:1 ongoing violin class designed for all violin beginner players ages 7-18. We will learn important musical concepts such as scales, theory, pizzicato and different bowing styles, rhythm, as well as master the core of violin technique. * Students are not expected to have any music background before taking this class COURSE CONTENT AND TOPICS COVERED: 1. Left hand positioning and finger technique, plucking as well as bow movement, note reading and music theory, scales and fun beginner level songs.
11 Year Teaching Experience at the Academy of Music University of Western Ontario (Psychology and Education) Suzuki Certification CDI College (Pharmacy Program)
Students will have small exercises from their work book to practice as well as any additional songs that I provide for them. Extra theory work may be included all depending on student's needs. Violin practice time should take 2-4 hours per week.

I'm always in contact with students and/or parents and report to them in writing on student's progress.
30 minutes per class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Parents are advised to help beginner players ages 6-12 prepare for their lesson, tune their violin and rosin their bow until they can do it themselves with confidence.
