Join us for an upbeat ongoing tap class, where your learner will develop our understanding of tap moves, technique, skills, and terminology.
Class experience
In this ongoing course students will learn entry level tap fundamentals, moves, and terminology. Each class is grounded in encouragement and LOTS OF FUN! WHAT TO EXPECT: Students will begin class with a rhythm exercise, followed by a warmup, and an introduction to tap moves/terminology in center floor. Finally, learners will engage in a patiently demonstrated sample routine to their favorite movie hits! And by the end of class your learner will be gracefully doing the dance effortlessly....
Students will gain a basic understanding of foundational Tap moves, verbiage, technique and proper execution based on their age range.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Adult supervision throughout class is required, as there is always a level of risk associated with any physical activity. Please have a space cleared of debris and clutter (minimum 4X4 ft square) so your learner can move about freely and safely. Tap Shoes are preferred for this class as well as a hard surface so I can hear the sounds you are making with your feet!
