This ongoing class will begin the week of 3/1 . Each class will feature Basic Tap skills, learn dance routines that we will perform in a "mini recital" and play games

Class experience

In Tap our goal is to learn, practice and or master the following steps: In Tap we will work on the following steps: Brush, Spank, Spank Steps, draw backs, cramps rolls, Maxi-fours, shuffles, flaps, steps, stamps, stomps, marches, toe heel heel, hop, jump, chug, ball change, Paradiddle's, and more

In addition our Goal is to learn how to phrase steps together to make a combinations to perform in our mini recital.
 I have been teaching dance for the past 3 years, and I have taught beginner/intermediate level dance in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Lyrical. In addition, I have choreographed many middle school productions. I also will have a minor in dance, Early Childhood Education and a BA in Psychology by this December.  
Homework Offered
There will be no assigned homework: However every dancer should keep in mind that no one will be perfect at everything by the time the class is over. It is our job as dancers to keep improving, practicing and to NEVER GIVE UP.
Assessments Offered
Each child will be assessed through observations of praise and critiques.
Grades Offered
Please be aware that your child can end up injuring themselves. Therefore please make sure your child has sufficient dance space, proper foot ware (choice of ballet shoes, or barefoot/socks, Jazz shoes, Tap shoes or sneakers). In addition, I encourage all students to have a water bottle near by and the student is warmed up before class to avoid injury’s. Parental supervision is strongly encouraged to help your dancer assure there safety and spacial awareness.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
