In this beginner class, athletes will focus on continuing to grow their flexibility, plus be introduced to beginner floor tricks and acro skills!

 Week 1
Lesson 1
Week 1: Elbow Bridges
This lesson is all about Elbow Bridges! Here, we will learn the basics of performing an elbow bridge, alongside some fun entrances, variations, and a safe way to exit.
 Week 2
Lesson 2
Week 2: Twist to Bridge + Variations
Here, you will learn the basics of performing a Twist to Bridge, alongside some fun entrances, a variation, and two safe ways to exit.
 Week 3
Lesson 3
Week 3: Elbow Stands + Variations
In this lesson, you will learn the basics of performing an Elbow Stand, alongside a fun entrance, a few variations, and two safe ways to exit.
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Week 4: Chest Stands + Variations
Here, you will learn the basics of performing a Chest Stand, alongside two fun entrances, a few variations, and one safe way to exit.
 Week 5
Lesson 5
Week 5: Face Freezes + Variations
Here, we will learn the basics of performing a Face Freeze, alongside one basic entrance, two variations, and one safe way to exit. In Beginner Acro, we focus on building a strong and consistent basic Face Freeze. In my higher level acro classes, we will learn even more challenging and fun entrances, variations, and exits!
 Week 6
Lesson 6
Week 6: Headstands -Entrances, variations, + exits
In this lesson, we will learn the basics of performing a Headstand, alongside two basic entrances, a few variations, and two safe ways to exit.
 Week 7
Lesson 7
Week 7: Continuous Splits + Combos
Here, you will learn exactly how to perform Continuous Splits, and then how to take this skill into additional skills, to make combos!
 Week 8
Lesson 8
Week 8: Cartwheel Switch Split
In this lesson, we will learn exactly how to perform Cartwheel Switch Splits, and then how to take this skill into additional skills, to make combos!
Beginner acrobats will master fundamental beginning skills necessary for progression within acro! 
As a gymnast and acrobat for 9 years, coach for 7 years, and a certified personal trainer, I love sharing my passion for health, fitness, and gymnastics with all my students!
While skills in this class are for beginners, parental guidance is necessary, as any sort of physical activity can be dangerous, and could potentially result in injury.

Students should wear moveable athletic-wear in order to fully engage in each activity. 

They should also have a safe space to practice acro, free of any obstacles.

A gymnastics/acro mat, yoga mat, rug, or soft surface should be available for performing tumbling skills. 

A water bottle is also advised.
