This four-week class will introduce elementary Spanish to young learners. With eye-catching images and interactive activities, this course will keep your learner engaged while acquiring a new language. Students will learn the alphabet, greetings, and partings, how to ask and answer introduction questions, the numbers, the colors, and the pronouns in Spanish. Classes will begin with a warm-up exercise practicing what we learned in the previous class or going over the homework together. Every class will focus on one topic and will be 40% vocabulary and grammar and 60% guided practice. At the end of class, we review and say our "adios". I love for students to participate and everyone will have an opportunity to practice during class. My classroom is a place where students can have fun, learn, and make many mistakes. Previous Knowledge: No previous knowledge necessary. I will post a link to the alphabet and the pronouns in Spanish for learners to watch before class. Students will be expected to: -Actively participate in class discussions and conversations -Practice 1-2 hours a week outside the classroom -Keep a Spanish notebook/diary. Structure: -Greetings/Review (5 mins) -Teacher lecture/slides (10 mins) -Guided practice (15 mins) *Summer camp will be two weeks, 4 times a week* Week I -The alphabet -The pronouns -Greetings and partings Week II -Greetings and partings -How to ask and answer introduction questions Week III -Colors Week IV -Numbers

-Sound the alphabet in Spanish.
-Greet and say goodbye in Spanish.
-To ask and answer introduction questions in Spanish
