Class Experience

Want to give your learner meaningful and fun Spanish instruction in a supportive environment?

Looking for your learner to learn not just vocabulary words, but also how to ask and answer questions in Spanish from day 1?

My private Spanish lessons provide individualized and engaging Spanish speaking and listening practice for your learner! I use original, unique teaching materials created from my classroom and private Spanish teaching experience as well as my Hispanic...

This class is taught in English.

Your learner will learn and practice various questions, answers, and vocabulary/grammar in Spanish about greetings, weather, and other topics, depending on their prior knowledge.

I passed the Spanish Praxis exam required to teach Spanish in Maryland and taught middle school Spanish for 2 years. I have also formally worked as a Spanish interpreter to interpret parent-teacher conferences. While I am Hispanic, I am not a native speaker.

Learners will be encouraged to practice the material from class at home. They will also regularly get Quizlet Spanish flashcards with audio to facilitate practicing Spanish after class throughout the week!

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Google Jamboard
Quizlet
Google Docs

30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

External tools: During class, I screen share and send links to resources on Google Jamboard and Google docs. After class, I send Quizlet flashcard sets to be used to practice the Spanish material at home. If you’d prefer that links to any of these resources are not sent directly to your learner, just let me know.
