Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in Spanish.
The learning goals are based on the performance descriptors from the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL): Student will participate in conversations on very familiar topics using a variety of words, phrases, simple sentences, and questions that have been highly practiced.
I am a Spaniard living in the US and a certified teacher. I have taught Spanish for over 20 years in a variety of settings, including traditional schools and college as well as online private and group classes. I hold a Master of Arts in Linguistics and a Master in Spanish Education.
Students are expected to complete the worksheets and activities posted weekly. For additional practice, they are encouraged to record themselves (audio or video) using the classroom tools and post the recording in the classroom.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
