Beginner Spanish Color and Chat Club (7-9 Years Old)
Learn Spanish Q&A with fun vocabulary in small groups and practice beginner Spanish conversations while coloring! Small class sizes provide lots of speaking practice for each student. Come be creative, color, chat, and chill!

Class Experience
Class Schedule Each week, students will learn and practice Spanish vocabulary and one or more target Spanish question and sentence pattern related to: Feb 14-18: Lunch Food Feb 21-25: (No class Monday) School Supplies Feb 28-March 4: Dinner Food March 7-11: Desserts March 14-18: St. Patrick's Day March 21-25: Spring March 28-April 1: Pets April 4-8: Fruit April 11-15: Vegetables April 18-22: Nature April 25-29: Outdoor activities May 2-6: Hobbies May 9-13: Travel May 16-20: Camping May 23-27: Farm Animals Note: Weekly topics may be rearranged or modified depending on students' prior knowledge, Spanish level, etc. Classes will continue throughout the spring with similarly themed topics and various Spanish questions and answers! I passed the Spanish Praxis exam required to teach Spanish in my state and taught middle school Spanish for 2 years. I have also formally worked as a Spanish interpreter with a school district for parent-teacher conferences. While I am Hispanic, I am not a native Spanish speaker.
Learners should finish their coloring page and can upload a picture of it to the discussion board if they'd like to share with other learners. They will also get an audio clips of the lesson vocabulary and a Boom cards set - digital "cards" that incorporate audio and pictures to motivate students to continue practicing Spanish throughout the week!

30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
