🛎️Please read the class description thoroughly. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions! I'm happy to answer them :-) 🎉🎉¡Bienvenidos a la clase de Arte y Juegos en Español! In this class, we'll dive into the vibrant world of Spanish art and culture. We'll the Spanish language through creative projects and games on blooket! *see more about blooket by looking below at parental guidance*🎉🎉 Learners will have the awesome privilege of choosing their art tool of choice! Whether they feel like using crayons or diving into the world of watercolors, it's totally up to them. In this class, our goal is for learners to have a blast learning Spanish through their most beloved art medium. And hey, perfect art or speaking flawless Spanish? Nope, not required! We're all about embracing the imperfections and enjoying the process. We will also get to play games using blooket! I use blooket to have learners practice their listening and reading skills in Spanish. Now, here's a cool tip for the art portion: I recommend learners use a mixed media notebook. It's like having a super handy treasure chest to keep all their artwork in one place. Plus, it's super flexible, so if they feel like rocking watercolors one day and unleashing their creativity with colored pencils the next, no problem! The paper in that notebook can handle any artistic medium they throw at it. Let's get ready to make art and learn Spanish in the most fantastic and colorful way! In the class, I will primarily be speaking in Spanish and I will provide real-time translations into English as I speak in Spanish to ensure comprehension. Learners will have the opportunity to practice pronunciation by repeating specific words or phrases. This approach aims to enhance language acquisition and reinforce understanding. By actively engaging in repetition, learners can improve their pronunciation and fluency in both Spanish and English. Get ready to immerse yourself in the bilingual experience! Week 1: Day One: Introductions and Vibrant Colors and Shapes! (art day and blooket) Let's kick off our artistic adventure by exploring a vibrant world of colors and shapes. We'll also discover how our names are pronounced in Spanish and whether they undergo any changes. Day Two: ABC's Art Extravaganza! (blooket) Get ready as we embark on a journey through the Spanish alphabet. We'll explore the world of letters using blooket to practice and learn our ABC's in Spanish. Week 2: Day Three: Picture-Perfect Me! (art day) It's time to put ourselves on canvas! We'll create captivating self-portraits while learning about the different facial features and body parts in Spanish. Day Four: Family Fun Artistry! (art day) Join us as we paint various family members and explore their roles. From moms and dads to brothers, sisters, grandparents, and even our furry friends, we'll celebrate the beauty of family bonds through art. Remember, you can paint your own family if you'd like, but it's not necessary! Week 3: Day Five: Numbers Galore! (blooket game) Let's dive into the world of numbers. We'll learn how to express our age in Spanish and practice sharing it with other learners. Don't worry, we'll ensure privacy and safety by using favorite numbers instead of real ages. So, get ready to play with numbers in a creative way! Day Six: Let's Master Size Descriptions in Spanish (art day) Get ready to explore sizes and bring them to life through art. We'll create colorful masterpieces featuring bugs, fruits, and other delightful objects while learning about size-related vocabulary in Spanish. Week 4: Day Seven: Zoo-tastic Safari and Under the Sea Spectacular! (blooket) We'll explore a safari and dive into the sea through interactive games on blooket! Day Eight: Final Day We'll review everything we've learned throughout the course and celebrate our artistic and linguistic achievements in a grand finale. Learners will get the opportunity to share what they learned or get help with vocabulary they are unsure of. If time permits we will do a final art activity or a final blooket game that incorporates the 4 weeks vocabulary. Siblings are more than welcome to join the class! It can be a wonderful opportunity for them to learn and engage together. However, it's important to note that the presence of siblings may influence the learning dynamic for each individual. While some siblings may thrive in a shared learning environment, others may require more focused attention. It is highly recommended that each sibling participating in the class have their own computer and dedicated learning space. Per outschool's policy it is required that each sibling be individually enrolled in the class. https://support.outschool.com/en/articles/2186663-enrolling-multiple-learners-in-the-same-class As the instructor, I will strive to provide an inclusive and supportive atmosphere where all learners can participate and benefit from the class. I may occasionally offer suggestions or modifications to accommodate the differing needs and abilities of individual learners. It's essential to recognize that each student's learning journey is unique, and I will do my best to ensure that all participants have an enriching experience. Please feel free to communicate any specific concerns or preferences you have regarding the presence of siblings during the class. Together, we can find the best approach to create an environment that fosters learning, creativity, and positive interactions for all participants. To ensure a successful learning experience, it's important for learners to attend each class. We will be building on previous lessons, and recordings cannot be used as substitutes. Please notify me 48 hours in advance if learners are unable to attend, allowing me to make necessary adjustments. Your commitment to regular participation will contribute to a cohesive and engaging class. Let's make the most of our time together! I follow Outschool's refund policy, please familiarize yourself with the guidelines regarding missed classes and any associated refund procedures.

I may use Blooket as a resource for learning Spanish. Learners do not need to have an account. I will provide them with a private code to access the platform. Blooket offers engaging games and activities that reinforce vocabulary, grammar, listening, and speaking skills. It's a fun and effective way for your child to practice Spanish while also gaining cultural understanding.
I incorporate Blooket into the class either at the beginning or end to introduce new concepts or vocabulary and assess learner understanding. By using Blooket as an interactive tool, I can engage learners through games and activities that reinforce their understanding of the material. This approach not only introduces new content in an engaging way but also allows me to gauge learners' comprehension and provide targeted support as needed. Blooket serves as a valuable resource to make the learning experience interactive, enjoyable, and effective.
I may use YouTube to share videos, including songs and visuals, as part of our lessons. Learners won't need to click on any links; instead, I will share my screen with them, allowing them to see and interact with the content directly. This approach ensures a seamless and engaging learning experience, where students can enjoy the benefits of multimedia resources without any additional steps.
If I notice that learners need some extra support I will adding additional materials using our classroom page on outschool and/or google classroom. Additional materials could be worksheets, videos, etc.
