Beginner Spanish "Amigo, Ponte Las Pilas". SUMMER CAMP
In this On-going course students will learn Spanish, sing songs, dance the Macarena and learn new verbs. Students will travel to Latin American countries to learn about customs and culture, and form simple sentences. ¡Vamonos amigos!

Description
Class Experience
Students will increase their Spanish vocabulary. They will practice formulating short, simple sentences and learn new greetings. Students will build upon their skills as they continue to practice using verbs and new adjectives. This will be achieved through the use of short video clips, Power Point Presentation and PDF review sheets (Bingo, coloring sheets) which will be posted on the classroom page upon completion of each class. Students will spend time directly listening to me, a native Spanish speaker, and repeating each word. I will listen, encourage repetition and correct mispronunciation if needed.
PDF review sheets will be posted on the classroom page upon completion of each class which will allow parents to practice with their learners if desired.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parents will be able to hear Spanish speaking skills progression as their learner sings songs and form short sentences in Spanish.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
