Beginner Level
We will discuss tools, products and routines. This can be overwhelming when just starting out and going to the store. I will start by discussing different types of products and tools, the many different varieties of a certain tool or product and how and when to use each one. We will also discuss tools that can be helpful but are not necessary when just getting started. They can be fun add-ons as the student becomes more knowledgable and interested. I will go over various products. Starting with the basics- Cleansers, toners, moisturizers. I will break down the purpose and use of each of these items. I will discuss the use of certain tools when discussing products. I will go over a basic skin care routine with the students. They are welcome to join, with product they have on hand, and do a cleanse while I guide them or they are free to take notes to feel better prepared when purchasing necessary items from the store. This is an interactive class. Students can discuss and ask questions freely. Everyone has different skin types and issues or concerns they may be looking for answers to. This is wonderful for open discussion. Some students may be looking for knowledge in a field they are curious about, others my be starting to develop break outs and are in pain or dealing with embarrassment. This is why I am here! I want to teach them how to help themselves to begin a good routine at a young age.

Supply List
OPTIONAL: Cleanser Toner Moisturizer Any tools the student wants to discuss or review for use. *materials are optional. You are not required to have these items to join class. Many beginners are overwhelmed with the store selection and are uncertain of which products to purchase. We will discuss this in class and students can take notes to be prepared for future store purchases.
