In this class, learners will learn how to make a pillow. We will start with two pieces of material (two fat quarters), practice sewing them together, stuffing the pillow, and then finishing the pillow by hand. This is an easy beginner project, but please make sure your learner knows how to set up their sewing machine and how to make their machine sew in reverse (or how to back stitch; having an adult nearby to assist is acceptable as well). In this class, we will be using sewing machines and other dangerous objects. Please have a parent near by to assist if necessary.
