Class Experience
*No live classes Each week, materials (video + Kahoot! Quiz) will be posted on Monday morning at 8AM EST for the upcoming week. Students will be able to use recognizable blocky animals from Minecraft, images from Star Wars, and by using LEGOs and their favorite books and holidays to focus on letter sounds, phonics, and word building with CVC word families. Students will sound out each letter and blend to read the words with gentle guidance. They will enjoy learning to read CVC word...
Students will improve their phonics skills through word-building, practicing CVC words, singing songs, and completing a quiz after class on the Kahoot! app (free download). Good for both native English speakers and ESL learners.
You will receive a fun (completely optional) activity on the free Kahoot app for extra practice after class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
