Description

Class Experience

Your beginner reader is building fluency. This engaging class will help struggling students. We'll focus primarily on word families, sight words, rhyming and CVC words. I strongly encourage learners being able to identify the alphabet and sounds as each class we'll review a few letters and sounds. Each class will focus on a word family. Students that are struggling academically with reading will strengthen and become a more confident reader.

No homework; but outside reinforcement is strongly encouraged.

Please bring a pencil and paper to class. Students can also use a whiteboard and marker.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

No assessment required.

1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
