Beginner Level

This is a one-time class for students to practice beginning reading skills.  I use puppets and games to teach phonics and other reading skills.  The students will interact with each other and with the teacher in a positive manner.  Activities which involve reading words with -at and -op endings, and recognizing color and number sight words will prepare the student for reading. Students will quickly read and recognize color and number words.  They will sound out words with various endings such as -at and -op.  Students will also practice reading with fluency and expression.
