This is a one-time class to introduce students to the basic quilling shapes and how to make a flower. The six basic quilling shapes that will be taught in this class are tight coil, ring coil, loose coil, open coil, marquis, and teardrop.

Students will learn the historical art form called quilling. The art of quilling is using thin strips of colorful paper and turning them around an object to make coils. The coils are then shaped into beautiful pictures!
