Getting Started With Coding/Programming a Botley Robot (10 Sessions)

Introduce your child to the exciting world of coding and programming in this engaging 10-week STEM course with Botley the robot!

This beginner-friendly class will guide your child through essential coding concepts, teaching them how to give precise instructions to control Botley’s movements. Each week builds upon the previous lessons, reinforcing problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and sequencing—all in a fun and interactive environment.

✅ No robot or prior coding experience needed!
Your child will learn how to think ahead, break challenges into steps, and confidently program Botley using simple directional commands: Right, Left, Forward, Backward, and Transmit.

🚀 Hands-on learning & teamwork
Each session includes exciting challenges like navigating a maze, scoring a goal, and overcoming obstacles! Children will be encouraged to explain their thought process, assist peers, and build coding confidence in a supportive setting.

Lessons will progress at the pace of the learners, ensuring every child has time to practice, refine their coding logic, and enjoy the experience.

Botley’s coding principles are similar to Bee-Bot, a robot often used in schools. This course is a fantastic way for children to strengthen their technology skills while having fun!
