Class Experience

In this multi-day class, students will familiarize themselves with the lines and spaces of the treble clef. On the first day, the student will become familiar with reading the notes on the treble clef. On the second day, students will learn how to play some shorts songs on the piano by reading the notes on the treble clef. The class will be taught in a fun, interactive, and laid back style. The first 3-5 minutes of each class will be an interactive time for the students to get to know the teacher and other fellow students. Then, the class will proceed with the teaching of the new material. The final 5-10 minutes of the class will be an interactive quiz time where students will be asked to review with each other what they learned in the class. It is recommended for students to take "Beginner Piano-The White Keys (Lesson 1)" and "Beginner Piano- C Position (Lesson 2)" before taking this class. The only materials students will need for this class will be access to a keyboard or piano, a device with internet & a webcam (iphone, tablet, or laptop), and a pair of headphones.
