Description
Class Experience
Students will learn to play with correct technique, learn to read music on the staff, and learn to play several simple songs.
Practicing 20-30 minutes each day is tremendously helpful in learning to play and instrument. New pieces will be assigned each week.
Students will need a piano or an electronic keyboard. Students who have completed "Beginner Piano Class" should already have the book. New students will need to purchase the lesson book for this course. "Alfred's Prep Course - Level A" can be purchased from a music store, alfred.com, or Amazon. It is available in print or digital format.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
