Advance your piano skills in just 1 month! In 4 weekly lessons, we will learn: - Review: playing with both hands. - Rests- When silence is cool! - Fast and fun notes: 8th and 16th notes, dots and ties. - Intervals - Those pesky black keys: Flats and sharps and naturals. - How to remember all those scales? Patterns and memory tricks. - Dynamics - making it sound like a pro! - Song patterns and repeats. - Pedals - The far edges of the keyboard and staff. - Types of songs and genres. This class will be held on "Zoom" and include live instruction from Melaura! It will also include some time in class for you to try new techniques, as well as a few informative slides/videos, emailed directly to your inbox for memory jogging. The best part is, all you need is a keyboard/piano and a "Zoom" capable computer. This course is a great continuation for beginners who have taken my Beginner Piano course or review for those who have had a lesson or two, before advancing to weekly private lessons. - Week 1: Review, Rhythm values 2.0 and Intervals - Week 2: Flats, Naturals and Sharps! O My! And the circle of 5ths! - Week 3: Dynamic Patterns - Week 4: Pedals, distant notes and all the places you’ll go!
