In this one time course students will learn how to draw aspen trees in the snow. They will learn about how light affects a painting and where to make shadows.

Class Experience
I have a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Georgia Southwestern State University with a concentration in painting. I have made and sold many paintings. I also have several years teaching experience for ages 6-18.
Supplies Include: - canvas or bristol board 9" x 12" or 8"x 11" - paint bushes- at least one large and one small - painters tape or masking tape an inch wide - paper plate or pallet for mixing colors - acrylic paint- black, white, blue, purple - water in a cup - pencil - paper towel or wipes -something to put under the canvas or bristol board to protect your table - flat cardboard, big paper, plastic tablecloth, newspaper, etc.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please be aware that acrylic paint can stain clothing. Please take proper precautions like wearing play clothes, an apron, and covering the work area. Please have the camera view on your child's work or have the camera easily move to your child's work.
