Beginner or Intermediate Spanish Class - 1:1 Or 1:2

This class is tailored to the needs of your student whether they are starting with zero Spanish or a year or two of any kind of Spanish class. Parents may also pick a focus for their student to personalize the class even more: reading, conversation, etc...

Please note: this class is 90-95% immersion as I have found this is the most natural way to make connections from one language to another. This will also very on the entry level of the student.

Many of the lessons, activities, and methods I use in Spanish tutoring are techniques that I have found helped me learn Spanish or that I've picked up from other teachers in my Spanish teaching journey. I've listed a few below.

*Stories (TPRS method): Learning through visuals, repetition, and stories is a great way to get a beginner comfortable with speaking the new language. 
*Listening Comprehension: As we progress, as a review, I will give one or two sentences verbally and the student draws their understanding of the sentence. 
*Matching Games: To practice vocabulary
*Calendar Time: We practice dates, seasons, weather, etc... to gain fluency with vocabulary and sentence structure. 
*Example Lessons: Estar/ Ser (to be verbs), Telling Time, Likes/ Dislikes, Colors/ Numbers, Shopping, Food, Adjectives, Feelings, Conversations, etc...

All of the lessons, activities, and games I have created myself for former students and continue to create to meet the unique needs or interests of my students. 

I ask that students keep a notebook for different activities and notes and have a whiteboard and marker available for games/ activities. 

I do offer a sibling discount of 1/2 off for that child off if the sibling is attending the same class. Example: two siblings class for 30 minutes would be $42 as opposed to two $28 individual classes. Please inquire about this option as I will need to create a private class link for you.
