Class Experience
In this third class we will go over the homework to bring a complete sentence and be able to communicate it to the group. During this class, students will learn some more basic sentences and refine the clarity of their message. My teaching style is hands on. This means we learn by listening to code, writing and decoding the coded message, and then learning how to send a proper message through practice and feedback. Students will take their existing experience practicing the Morse code alphabet and be able to refine their message so that it can be understood more easily.
I am licensed as a General Amateur Radio Operator KC2SAL and I have used Morse Code to communicate to real radio operators all over the United States.
Homework is to create a basic message you might send to a friend, family, or stranger on the other side of the world and be able to send that message clearly to the group.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
