This camp is for learners who have taken the other two prep lessons:

1. “Your Very First Chinese Lesson (It Matters How You Start)” 
                           And
2. “Your Second Chinese Lesson: "What Is Your Name?"  

Please be sure that your learner has taken these two prep lessons before you join this series. Thanks!  

Here is what we are going to cover through this camp.
Lesson 1. Nice to meet you! 
Lesson 2. Numbers 1-8 in Chinese. 
Lesson 3. I'm ...Years old this year. (learn how to say number up to 99)
Lesson 4. I really like animals.
Lesson 5. I like kittens/doggies/pigs   
Lesson 6. I have a kitten/cat. His/her name is…
Lesson 7. My puppy likes playing games, I want to play too.
Lesson 8. I like China, so, I like Chinese (Language)
Lesson 9. I am studying Mandarin Chinese. 
Lesson 10. I can also speak a little bit of Mandarin Chinese. 
Lesson 11. Because I like..., so I.... (coming up with sentences using everything learned)
Lesson 12. I can speak Chinese, but I don't know how to write it.
Lesson 13. I like Chinese food very much
Lesson 14. I like spring, but I like summer better. 
Lesson 15. I like the snow of winter and the cloud of summer
Lesson 16. I love the leaves of autumn the most 
Lesson 17. I like to look at the flowers of Spring, but I don’t really like the rain. 
Lessons 18. Thank you! you are welcome! Goodbye. (We will review most of the pinyin, vocabularies and sentences we have learned through this unit at the end of this lesson)


All the classes will be taught in an interactive and progressive manner. Students will be spending most of their time doing repetitions and practicing with teacher and other learners.

Learning Goals

The goal of this series of classes is to help learners build up a strong Chinese language foundation by mastering pinyin letters progressively throughout the 18 lessons while learning ways of expressions and establishing a good self-introduction.
