Beginner Level Yoga Flow to get our bodies moving!

In this class we will cover the basics of yoga while going through a simple vinyasa flow to stretch our bodies and calm our breath.

Class Experience

In this 45min class we will cover the basics of yoga and the benefits of practicing yoga daily. We will learn up to eight yoga poses  through a full Vinyasa flow; detailing the structure of each pose. The class starts with an introduction to the theme for the day, followed by three collective breaths to get out bodies centered and then we move into a flow. 
The three week themes will go as follows; week 1: Breath Focus, week 2: Heart Centered, week 3: Quieting the Mind. 
I will be guiding the whole class and allowing time for questions after each practice. 
There is no required experience, this will be a beginner class for those interested in learning how to practice yoga. Experienced yogis are also welcome; bring it back to the basics!

Learning Goals

The goals of this class is to enable the student to have good health, physically and mentally. Students will have learned breathing techniques they can use in their every day life as well as how to calm their bodies through yoga movements.

Parental Guidance
This is a physical class, students must be able and willing to stretch and move their bodies. This is a beginner course, it will be easy and gentle movements offering many modifications.
Supply List
Yoga mat, blanket or towel.
Water bottle 
Comfortable clothes that allow movement

Hello! 
My name is Megan, I am a 200-HR certified yoga instructor and certified wellness champion. I teach yoga for ages 10 years and up! I got my certification with Breathe for Change where the focus is on teaching yoga as well as meditation and mindfulness to children. The type of yoga I teach is a vinyasa; focusing on the movements and connecting the breath with the movement. I also guide meditations and teach about mindfulness to calm the body and mind. 
I love teaching yoga and bringing the practice into other's lives; it is my passion and purpose in life. My goal is to bring a fun aspect into yoga, I am a goofy/fun teachers who loves interacting with others.
