Description
Class Experience
I am conscious different students have different learning goals. Homework, tests and personalized feedback can will be given upon request for no additional charge.
I have M.A. in Applied Linguistics and a B.A. in East Asian studies with minors in Japanese and East Asian Philosophy. After graduating, I lived and worked in Sendai, Japan, for two years as an elementary and middle school teacher. Since then, I have tutored students of all ages in Japanese, worked in a Montessori school with children ages 2-12, and formerly ran an adult Japanese language group for several years. I have also given many presentations to elementary and middle school children about Japanese culture and language.
Learners will get typical letter grades for work
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
