Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
I am a certified teacher with more than six years of experience teaching students from ages kindergarten through high school. I am a native Korean speaker and a world traveler since birth. I have lived in South Korea, Australia, Thailand, and the United States, each for an extended amount of time. I am trilingual with fluency in Korean, English, and Thai. Throughout my life, circumstances have always naturally put me in situations where I helped others communicate in different languages in various settings. I am passionate about sharing my cultural experiences and language skills with others!

Students will need to bring a set of Wikki Stix (any brand of wax sticks are fine). Students are welcome to use colored pencils or crayons to substitute Wikki Stix, if they prefer. Handouts will be provided for each lesson before class time via the Classroom. Students should print these out to use during class. If students prefer cutting the lengths of their Wikki Stix instead of bending them, they will need to bring scissors to class. You may purchase Wikki Stix (or wax sticks) through the links below: - WikkiStix brand (official website): https://www.wikkistix.com/ - WikkiStix brand (Amazon): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O2TGG6W?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_BHS32BAQQYF7MQFK511K - Purple Ladybug brand (Amazon): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SJQ6LQY?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_5P8BVBR2NF6YVX1472D6
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Younger students should be able to handle Wikki Stix appropriately to ensure there will be no safety hazard. If students prefer cutting the lengths of their Wikki Stix to do the activities, please make sure they are able to handle scissors safely and supervise as necessary.
