Class experience
Did you enjoy the previous classes? Shall we study how to count in Korean? Get on this class! In this 4 week class, we're going to study the number system, how to count things in a proper way, how to tell dates and time in Korean, and practice it with a native Korean teacher. You'll be able to have conversations such as "What time is it? It's 8:20." or "When is your birthday? My birthday is June 10th." in Korean after this class. Here's the plan for what we're going to study each...
Learners will understand basic number system, how to express time and dates in Korean. After this class, learners will be able to express more advanced sentences, which we can use in real conversation.
I'm a native Korean speaker, a professional Korean language tutor and instructor for 7 years, and have a bachelor's degree. I'm fluent in both Korean and English. I received perfect scores in all Korean language tests including the Korean SAT. I worked in my college press, as well as in thesis correction for my department at my university. I lived in Korea for 28 years and moved to the US for my Ph.D. I have experience teaching Korean language to both Korean native students and non-native students, for more than 7 years now!
Homework Offered
Each week, the teacher will give the learners a simple and optional homework, such as "Write your family's birthdays in Korean. Share it with the other students in the next class, if you are okay with it, but it's okay not to do it. It is optional." It's going to be a great practice to read, write, speak, and listen. I know that people have a different way to study, so I just suggest this homework but it's optional! I wouldn't mind it even if you don't want to share with other students or you don't do the homework. Everybody has a different way to study, and I'm just a guide on your way :)Assessments Offered
