Homework
Each week, the teacher will give the learners a simple and optional homework, such as "Draw your room and write the names of things you know in Korean on the paper. Share it with the other students in the next class, if you are okay with it, but it's okay not to do it. It is optional." It's going to be a great practice to read, write, speak, and listen. I know that people have a different way to study, so I just suggest this homework but it's optional! I wouldn't mind it even if you don't want to share with other students or you don't do the homework. Everybody has a different way to study, and I'm just a guide on your way :)

Class Experience

Are you ready to learn basic Korean expressions? Do you want to know what it's called right there in Korean? Then, let's try it! In this 4 week class, we're going to study the most basic expressions in Korean, the names of things around us, and practice it with a native Korean teacher. You'll be able to say "This is a chair" or "Do you have a pencil?" in Korean after this class.

Here's the plan for what we're going to study each week!
Week 1 : 이거, 저거, 그거 - How to say "this" and "that" in Korean? Let's learn some vocabulary for things around us and practice with those.
Week 2 : 있어요, 없어요 - Let's learn "there is" and "do you have...?" expressions in Korean, and practice with friends and the teacher.
Week 3 : Let's learn the most popular expressions which you are definitely going to use when you have conversation in Korean. Such as "good bye" or "it's delicious!" You'd be on a good level to study these and it will be very useful!
Week 4 : Let's try conversation with what we studied in the class and more vocabulary! We're going to organize what we learned to memorize easier and practice with those. Congratulations, you can officially speak Korean at this point!

We're going to work with slides I make. We're going to practice reading, listening, speaking, and writing with the expressions we studied in the class. Learners will ask questions to each other and answer those. There will be next level of following beginner classes as a series, and I offer more advanced classes and practice classes as well, so please take following classes if you're interested! I'm looking forward to see you guys in the class :)

This class requires basic understanding of the Korean characters Hangul. You don't have to be perfect in reading Hangul since I'm going to help you when you need, but you'll need basic understanding of the character system. I recommend to take this class after taking "Learn to Read and Write Korean Characters Hangul" or "Beginner Korean 1" I offer, but it's not necessary if you know how to read Hangul and it's fine to take this class with "Beginner Korean 1," if you want to learn fast. Feel free to join and let's have a fun time!

I offer total 5 Beginner Korean classes and this class is the second of the five part series. If you follow this 5 part set of 4 week class, you'll be able to have basic conversations in Korean. I offer intermediate level Korean classes as well, so please take the intermediate level classes if you want to study more!
