Class Experience
**Please note that there is also a 2x/week for 2 weeks version of this class.** In this multi-day introductory class, students will learn the basic Korean letters and sounds, key vocabulary, and how to combine the letters to read/write words with their newfound knowledge. No prior Korean knowledge is necessary. We'll practice reading, writing, and speaking with the correct pronunciations through fun games, songs, stories, and discussions. Students will learn how the basic Korean letters, the sounds, and how to combine the letters. Students will also learn vocabulary words and phrases in Korean. They will know how to read and write the vocabulary words.
There will be optional review materials available after each class to practice reading and writing. Students will finish coloring and completing their art project on their own time after the 3rd day of class.
3 files available upon enrollmentMaterials needed: 1.) Printable handouts (teacher will provide before class) 2.) Pencil & paper 3.) A whiteboard and dry erase marker for games and review. If student does not have a whiteboard, they can use paper and pencil. 4.) Coloring materials (crayons, markers, or colored pencils)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
3 hours 20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
