In this four day camp, students will learn the basic cascade pattern for juggling three balls. This is a beginner level class so students are not required to have any previous juggling experience. The classes will be structured as follows: In class one, I will first start with an introduction and give everyone a chance to share their juggling experience and the reason they signed up for the class. Together we will have a conversation surrounding what else goes into successful juggling such as patience, focus, and consistency. After the intro, students will practice tossing one ball. Toward the end of the class, students will learn how to toss two balls. At the beginning of class 2 I will open the floor for everyone to share how their practicing has been going and what they think they are struggling or having difficulty with. Students will review and practice tossing two balls, then learn how to toss three balls toward the end of class. During class 3, I will again open the floor for everyone to share how their practicing has been going and what they think they are struggling or having difficulty with. Students will practice at whatever level they are comfortable (most students will likely still be practicing with two balls, as this must be mastered before moving on to the third ball) Finally, class 4 will begin with students sharing their progress. During this class, all students will begin juggling with the third ball. Again, the progress will be different for each student and it is important not to rush ahead just because one of the other students is progressing faster. We will spend the remainder of the class practicing with the three balls. The class style will be hands on demonstration and practice, with tips and feedback given to each student. After completing the 4 class camp, students will have the opportunity to enroll into my ongoing juggling group.
