Class Experience

Students will develop a strong grasp of the foundational grammar structure: A wa B desu. Students will learn the correct pronunciation for Japanese words.
I really enjoy teaching Japanese and, in 2019, I presented a talk called "Cat memes, costumes and creativity" to a large group of Japanese teachers in Australia. I love bringing fun and laughter into my lessons and look forward to sharing the beautiful Japanese language with my students.
Learners will need to print the one page handout, or draw the faces to colour in. Learners will also need colouring pens or pencils. Coloured materials for the game do not need to be prepared in advance.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

About Me

I am loud and active, so my classes are too! I love to use songs, dance, drama, games and story telling to make my classes interesting. Topics that I teach include creative storytelling, historical role-play and beginner Japanese.
