In Hip Hop our goal is to learn, practice and master the following steps: step claps, hip isolations, coffee grinders, squid-wards, seat spins, finding rhythm in our body, Steve Martin and more.
In Jazz our Goal is to learn, practice and or master the following steps: In Jazz we will work on the following steps: Basic arm positions in 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th, Isolations in the Head, shoulder, ribcage and hips, 3 step turn, Pivot turn, Pas de bourree, Pirouette's, Jumps, leaps, and grand battements and more.

I have been teaching dance for the past 3 years, and I have taught beginner/intermediate level dance in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Lyrical. In addition, I have choreographed many middle school productions. I also will have a minor in dance, Early Childhood Education and a BA in Psychology by this December.
There will be no assigned homework: However every dancer should keep in mind that no one will be perfect at everything by the time the class is over. It is our job as dancers to keep improving, practicing and to NEVER GIVE UP.
Students will be participating in a physical fitness/movement activities though out the class. Please be aware that your child can end up injuring themselves. Therefore please make sure your child has sufficient dance space, proper foot ware (choice of ballet shoes, or barefoot/socks, Tap shoes or sneakers). In addition, I encourage all students to have a water bottle near by and the student is warmed up before class to avoid injury’s. Parental supervision is strongly encourage to help your dancer assure there safety and spacial awareness.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Each child will be assessed through observations of praise and critiques.
