Week 1Lesson 1Week 1: Around the ClassroomBasic self-introduction and vocabulary and sentences that describe the classroom (book, paper, pen, etc)Week 2Lesson 2Week 2: Around the HomeAsking, "How are you?", and vocabulary words related to our home (window, wall, floor, etc).Week 3Lesson 3Week 3: Family Members & RelationshipsResponding to the question, "How are you?", and vocabulary words related to our family members and how they are related to us (mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, etc).Week 4Lesson 4Week 4: Fruits & VegetablesLearning to say what you are doing, "I am standing/sitting/jumping", and vocabulary words related to common fruits and vegetables (apple, banana, potato, onion, etc)Week 5Lesson 5Week 5: AnimalsLearning to say what someone else is doing, "He/She is standing/sitting/walking", and animal words (dog, cat, bird, cow, etc).Week 6Lesson 6Week 6: FoodsReviewing all previous class vocabulary, and adding additional food vocabulary (rice, water, sugar, etc).
This class is taught in Hindi.
- Students will remember and be able to correctly pronounce all beginner vocabulary, as well as simple sentence structure in Hindi to introduce themselves and tell what they are doing using several different verbs.
Hindi language immersion-3 years, and formal grammar and Hindi courses-3 years (ongoing thanks to my husband).

Frequency: available upon requestFeedback: available upon requestDetails: Each week students will receive a new set of vocabulary flashcards which I recommend reviewing throughout the week to help with retention of the vocabulary. Reviewing 10-15 minutes per day will greatly help students be prepared for the following class. I will teach simple games that can be used at home with your students throughout the week to help them practice.
Each week you will find printable activities that need to be printed and cut out in advance to be used during class time.
