My Experience with Hebrew I attended Hebrew school from kindergarten to 9th grade. I had a Bat Mitzvah and was able to read from the Torah. In high school, I taught 4th grade Hebrew School that included planning lessons and creating fun activities to help the kids learn the alphabet. I also substitute taught and tutored Bar and Bat Mitzvah students. During college, I spent a summer in Israel volunteering at a summer camp. I lived with a host family and learned a lot of words, phrases, and basic conversation skills. Last year, I taught my son Hebrew for his Bar Mitzvah. As a beginner student, I taught my son the Hebrew alphabet and vowels and he was able to read Hebrew during his service.
A few practice pages between each session in the book involving letter recognition, writing, and sight words. I will be available by messaging to answer any questions between sessions about the homework.
