🌟Creativity, Determination & Perseverance!

🌟This class is a great option for neurodivergent students interested in music.

🎡 The objective of these private drum lessons is to enable the student to gain a greater set of technical and musical skills on their hand drum, and to help the student develop a greater understanding of the role of hand drums in modern music.

🎡 This is achieved through the repetitive practices of technique and coordination, as well as developing critical listening skills demanded of drummers.

🎡 The lessons will meet the student at their skill level and assess ways in which they can grow as a drummer.

🎡 Class videos will be posted along with a transcription of the rhythm/patterns.
I will be reviewing students work as it is submitted and will send students tips and encouragement via classroom messages.

REQUIRED MUSIC GEAR: these lessons are designed for individual hand drums (i.e. djembe).
Please message Mr. Taylor to inquire about other drumming setups.

HOMEWORK: Each week, students will have new rhythms and exercises assigned. Students will be asked to record a video of themselves playing the material and submit it each week.
