Parental Guidance
I will use the third-party resource "Music Will" to provide learners with helpful music theory anchor charts and chord charts so that learners have a visual to refer back to when they practice. Learners will not need to access Music Will on their own.
I will also post videos from Youtube on our class page of helpful resources, such as tuning videos and backing tracks. We will also use Youtube to play the song that the learner has decided they want to master. The song will be approved by the parent first before class begins if possible. These videos will be posted on Outschool and the learner will not have to access Youtube on their own.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello there! My name is Michael Scott and I am a guitarist, songwriter, and producer based out of Nashville, Tennessee. I love my wife, disc golfing, my loud dalmation named "Butter", and of course... music! I have toured with several artists over the years and have had the pleasure to play beautiful venues such as Radio City Music Hall and The Greek Theatre. I primarily teach guitar, but offer songwriting and production classes as well. I believe music is meant to bring you joy and I approach my teaching in the same manner. I want all my students to love learning about music and for them to use it as an outlet for creativity.
